Chris Protheroe Managing Director, Copyright Promotions Sport

Now MD of the specialist sports rights agency that sits within CPLG, Protheroe is also a board member of the main operating company and of the group company CPG.

He boasts over 25 years experience in the licensing industry. Previously deputy MD of Sony Signatures he ran the European licensing programme for FIFA World Cup France 98.

Protheroe has also worked for Penguin Books as children’s rights director, Yorkshire TV as head of publishing and licensing and BBC Worldwide (then BBC Enterprises) as head of licensing.
