Neil Ross Russell

Ross Russell arrived at BBCW following its restructure in 2008. Key challenges of his role are working with the BBC to support the UK creative community and help protect the UK’s reputation for excellent children’s programming.

He is also charged with building brand management expertise, growing revenue from international markets, driving increased revenue from the non-children’s brands, building relationships with the BBC and supporting the roll out of the Cbeebies channel internationally.

Before joining BBCW, he was business development director for Sparrowhawk Media Group, now part of NBC Universal, where he was involved with independent children’s channel KidsCo.
