As the organiser looks to widen the appeal of the tech show, Licensing.biz has sealed a deal to become exclusive trade media partner for the licensing sector of the trade day.

The Gadget Show Live Professional will take place on Tuesday April 10th, the day before the five-day consumer exhibition takes place at the NEC. Some 250 companies will take part in the business-focused expo, showcasing the latest products to industry buyers from across the market.

Organisers say that 90,000 consumer visitors will attend The Gadget Show between April 11th and 15th, creating what they say is the biggest technology and consumer electronics in the UK. A number of free seminar sessions will also take place during the show.

Around 4,500 trade visitors and 500 members of press are expected to attend The GSL Professional day.
