Licensing Industry

Since 2002 - when the show first opened its doors - visitor numbers have risen from 80,000 to 185,000, with the number of exhibitors tripling from 166. Last year, 503 companies took part in what has become Europe's biggest game trade show.

In the Business Center, the separate area for the industry and trade (the show is also open to the public), almost half of the exhibition space have been booked by foreign suppliers - and in response to the huge demand, Leipziger Messe has enlarged the area by a quarter on last year at 40,000 square metres.

The list of trade registrations for the show so far includes 41 countries, with Germany, the UK and the Netherlands at the top of the list, closely followed by Russia and the US.
