Every year Showcomotion draws speakers and delegates from film, TV, radio, interactive media, games, licensing, toys and publishing to Sheffield for three days to discuss children's media.

This year, the organisers are looking to get more licensing companies involved - and to this end, Licensing.biz has been appointed as a media partner to help raise awareness within the sector.

Over 400 participants debated the creative, business and policy issues across all industry sectors concerned with children last year, and this year is already shaping up to be just as lively with creative and strategic keynotes, plus a stress on networking and shared learning to build partnerships and new ways of cross platform working.

There is a discounted rate available for LIMA members, which will be available from May 1st. Prior to this, there is a further discounted Early Bird rate available until April 30th, as well as a special rate offered to freelancers and small companies.

Both rates include access to all conference sessions, lunches and evening drinks receptions. Early Bird is £170 (plus VAT), while the freelance rate is £95 (plus VAT).
