Due to an international assignment for incumbent, the most exciting job in the toy industry in 2009 is up for grabs: Senior Brand Manager on Transfomers!

Take the reins on 2009’s most exciting toy line as Hasbro release the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen toy line along side what is expected to be the biggest summer blockbuster movie of 2009.

Transformers: RoTF looks to build on the outstanding success of the movie year 2007 – when Transformers became the #1 Boys toy and licence.

This opportunity does not come along every day.

We’re looking for an exceptional individual that can not only work closely with Paramount pictures, UK retail, Hasbro sales teams, Media and PR agencies in the UK but also support a Global marketing drive to make 2009 the biggest Transformers year to date.

Transformers is not just a movie line: the range also consists of Universe and Animated lines, contributing to its 25 year success.

Ideal candidates:

- Significant relevant experience - Ideally in a kids or entertainment role

- Budget management: this role has a huge A&P

- Enthusing sales team

- Trade appreciation of UK retail scene

- Self motivated, high energy, highly organised, ambitious

- Long term strategy and short term pragmatism

- Knowledge of media, creative, promotional, PR agencies

- Team player
