The Tigerprint business was formed in 1996 to supply exclusive cards and wrapping to Marks and Spencer. We now design and manufacture over 1500 new products created every year. We continue to expand into new and growing areas like toys, games and stationery.

Job Purpose and Responsibilities
To drive success in this role the responsiblities of the role are as follows:
* The development of new business opportunities with regards to licensing out – spotting potential opportunities to license Tigerprint brands externally and build relationships and contacts to market these successfully to the external trade – this may be other business units within M&S and / or outside M&S
* Source, present and recommend suitable licenses to the category directors, heads of teams and creative director within Tigerprint, plus heads of design & product buyers at M&S – in order to meet the category strategy requirements and deliver financial growth
* Act as the key contact point for all licensors – overseeing all approvals and contract agreements for the categories. Agree guarantees and royalty rates, and other financial details between Tigerprint and licensors. Monitor & highlight license product sales and guarantee targets within categories.
* Develop and train licensing team to take on more ownership of license approvals
* Show awareness of relevant market place and key competition, in order to select appropriate licenses, Work closely with design team to identify potential external licensing opportunities, and develop accordingly. Liase with Licensing Directors in other areas of Hallmark including UK and US to nurture joint opportunities
* Develop/ build relationships with 3rd party suppliers to M&S and other external companies, deal with contracts/ royalty negotiations and approvals.
Requirements
Ideally, you should also:
* Be educated to degree level – marketing, business studies, design management.
* Have a very strong proven track record of working within the licensing industry at a senior level – either within a licensing company or product development role in a key supplier to M&S or other key retailer, where licensing has been a major part of the candidates role.
* Have experience of licensing out design properties, negotiating financials and contracts, and dealing with approvals
* Travel to our head office in Bradford will be required
