The brand was recently unveiled at the major video game exhibition E3 in Los Angeles and has already gained global appeal with some of the world’s best known video game retailers.
The brand is planned to launch into Europe, USA, Middle East and Australasia later this year, initially over several pre-determined product categories.
We require an enthusiastic, creative and highly motivated person with strong presentation and communication skills, to fill this key role in preparation for the trade launch of our new brand later this year.
Working alongside our License Director, your main responsibilities will require you to:-
Plan, develop and manage the overall global marketing strategy
Build immediate brand awareness with our worldwide distribution and retail partners, by developing strong brand support initiatives in conjunction with our sales team
Implement digital marketing and advertising campaigns using Facebook, Twitter, Blogs, You Tube, apps etc to drive consumer awareness, and develop Retailer understanding of the brand through the management of PR agencies, and general media activities.
Create ongoing impactful consumer experiences to continually increase brand awareness and value.
Engage inspire and motivate your colleagues, our distribution partners and our retail partners around the brand vision, market positioning and brand values
Work with our Creative Department in developing style guides and packaging guidelines, and participate in product development strategies
Work alongside the Licensing Manager in engaging with new licensees and vendors, to introduce them fully into the world of Punky Princess and all the benefits that will bring to their businesses
REQUIREMENTS for a Successful Candidate
You should have a minimum of 3-4 years experience working in product/brand management, and knowledge of the consumer electronics and video game product categories whilst not essential, would be a distinct advantage
You will be proficient with Microsoft office programs (Word, Excel, MS Outlook, Power Point, etc.)
You must possess excellent organisation/prioritisation, creative, problem solving skills and ability to make strategic & sound business recommendations, decisions & manage multiple projects to multi-task & meet tight deadlines.
You must be able to demonstrate hands on knowledge and experience of Social Media marketing techniques and other digital activities.
You are able to operate in a fast paced ever changing environment with internal colleagues, distribution partners, retailers and licensees.
The role requires strong written/verbal communication & presentation skills and you must be detail-oriented and a team player.
