LIMA UK, the British branch of the International Licensing Industry Merchandisers Association, is seeking to recruit a new Member Services Manager.

 

Position Overview:

 

This is a first-class opportunity for an experienced customer services or sales service executive. There will be plenty of scope for development in the role as we seek to continue to build LIMA into a strong force representing licensing in media, government and general business circles and providing services and support to our members. You will report to the UK Managing Director and to senior colleagues in our New York head office.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Liaising with members on a day-to-day basis, handling requests for information

Liaising with the wider business community with questions about the licensing industry

Liaising with other LIMA offices and representatives in USA, Japan, Germany and China, Australia, New Europe, Italy and Spain

Liaising with our appointed PR agency

Liaising with finance and operation teams

Liaising with US marketing and Website management team

Attending meetings of the UK Advisory Board

New member recruitment and retention of existing members.

Maintaining membership records

Maintaining financial records including using QuickBooks bookkeeping system

Providing general assistance and support to the Managing Director

Seeking out benefits, partnerships and services to provide to members

Generating and selling sponsorship packages for our events

Managing all Social Media accounts, Twitter, Facebook, and LIMA UK LinkedIn Group

Writing articles for LIMA publications and for the LIMA website

Planning, marketing and organising our events including UK flip, Licensing Essentials Course,  Webinars, and networking parties

Researching event venues and service providers

Organisation and management of LIMA stand at BLE

Opportunity for international travel to key trade events

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

 

Licensing or Marketing experience would be an advantage

At least two years’ experience of working with senior business executives

Previous B2B experience including international

Excellent communication skills, including familiarity with social media and competence in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Excellent organisational and event planning skills  including Email marketing

Motivated self-starter with ability to work unsupervised
