The countdown to the MCV Awards 2010 has begun – with date, venue and categories announced.
Firm becomes new master toy for Cbeebies show after inking three-year deal.
Brands with Influence has secured Golden Bear as the master toy licensee for Cbeebies show, Woolly and Tig.
The firm's three-year deal covers plush, feature plush, animated plush, plastic and electronic toys.
Golden Bear initially planned to launch the first toys in July 2013, but now it has pushed forward the Woolly and Tig toy launch to May 2013.
"The Woolly and Tig master toy licence is a great coup for Golden Bear and we look forward to developing a fabulous range for this great property," said Christine Nicholls, product and marketing director at Golden Bear.

Brian Jameson, co-founder of Tattiemoon - the production company and creator of Woolly and Tig - added: "Woolly and Tig has proved itself to be a brand that has a unique and direct resonance with its target audience. Hi, please can you tell me if the woolly spider will be available to purchase in time for Christmas? My little boy is crazy about the show and would love one of his own. People are making them and selling them in eBay but would prefer an official product if possible. I look forward to hearing from you.

Just like everyone else, I would like to know if the wooly toy will be on sale in time for Christmas, my 2yr old grandson adores the programme i would love to get him a wooly for Christmas.

My 4 year old daughter absolutely loves woolly and tig, so she would be made up if Santa delivered a toy woolly for Christmas Please let me know if they will be on sale soon, and where i can get one from. Waiting in anticipation!! Many thanks.

My two and a half year old twin daughters absolutely adore woolly and tig. Would love to know when these will be available to purchase as this would make 2 little girls very very happy!
Don't want to put a downer on the good news that a woolly toy is going to be made as my daughter lives woolly I managed to get in contact with someone from golden bear and they told me that the earliest a toy will be available for sale will be next year
