Brands like Little Charley Bear have "suffered" due to falling TV and licensing revenues.
Raa Raa the Noisy Lion brand owner Chapman Entertainment Limited has entered administration.
Tony Nygate and Sarah Rayment, partners of BDO LLP, have been appointed joint administrators of the company. They will act on behalf of creditors to sell the business to new owners, or look at other options, to allow Chapman to continue running.
TV programme producer and licensor Chapman Entertainment owns pre-school titles and brands including FiFi and the Flowertots, Little Charley Bear, Roary the Racing Car and Raa Raa the Noisy Lion.
Tony Nygate, BDO Business Restructuring Partner, said: "Sadly, the trading vehicle for these brands has suffered due to declining revenues from TV and product licensing and has ultimately failed.
"However the brands continue to have a very strong following, and we will be working with management to find ways to promote and maximise their value for the benefit of the company’s creditors."
Any expressions of interest for the aforementioned brands should be directed to Tony Nygate at BDO LLP.
