Zodiak Rights is to restructure its London and Paris based distribution businesses
The new genre based structure will be comprised of five divisions; Non-Scripted Programming, Scripted Programming, Kids, Digital & Publishing and Clips.
From the January 1st all non-scripted programming - which includes documentaries, factual and factual entertainment, formats and entertainment programming - will be sold out of London.
All Scripted programming, such as drama, comedy and feature films, will be sold out of Paris and they are currently divided by territories. All other divisions will be based out of London.
As a result of this restructure Jane Millichip, managing director Zodiak Rights London, will leave the firm at the end of January 2013.
Zodiak Rights has appointed Sara Wookey in the newly created role of chief operating officer.
Sara joins with a wealth of experience in the television industry including various operational roles at Sparrowhawk Media, Viacom/ Nickelodeon; Discovery Networks and KidsCo TV where she held the position of director of broadcast.
