Agreements secured in games and home furnishings sectors for classic brand.
The Roald Dahl brand is set to expand further into the licensing space in 2013, with DRi securing a brace of new deals.
The firm has signed up The Green Board Game Company for a special Roald Dahl board game, plus Ashley Wilde for a new collection of home furnishings including bedding, cushions, curtains, wallpaper and bathroom linens.
With ranges featuring characters such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda and The Enormous Crocodile, both lines are scheduled for spring 2013 launches.
In addition, there is also a musical due to launch in London's West End in June, while plans are already underway for the 50th anniversary celebrations for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in 2014.
"We're delighted to be welcoming new licensees on board and to be expanding the wonderful world of Roald Dahl with these fantastic products," said Alicia Davenport, DRi's licensing director.
