US: Nick Online has record breaking month

Nickelodeon established as number one kids and family online destination in March.
Nickelodeon Kids and Family Group's digital sales registered their best month ever online in March, according to comScore Media Metrix. This helped it to establish itself as the number one kids and family online destination.
The group of sites - which include Nick.com, NickJr.com and Noggin - garnered 27.9 million uniques, beating nearest competitor Disney Online by two per cent.
Per comScore, Nick Kids and Family Group's record-breaking digital performance was up more than 11 per cent in unique visitors over the previous month and seven per cent in terms of time spent and 27 per cent year-over-year.
Visitors averaged 81.1 minutes on the sites in March and page views for the sites increased by nine per cent to 3.2 billion for the month.
Highlights included Nick.com becoming the number one kids site, achieving its best-ever month after getting its highest trafficked day on March 29th as a result of the Kids' Choice Awards, while March also marked iCarly.com's highest month with 3.3 million unique visitors, up 22 per cent on February.
