360 Licensing picks up popular 1980s puppet duo; master toy deal signed with PMS.
A start up independent licensing agency has secured the worldwide rights to the iconic puppet duo, Orville and Cuddles.
The pair first shot to fame on ventriliquist Keith Harris' cult 1980s TV show, Cuddles and Company. Now, 360 Licensing - formed by licensing expert Alan Shorrocks in 2011 - will be looking to reinvigorate the brand in terms of consumer products.
The firm has already signed up PMS International as master UK toy partner, with the deal including plush toys and keyrings.
"We're extremely pleased to have been appointed to this role and look forward to an exciting couple of years with Orville & Cuddles and PMS International," said Shorrocks. "Our sales and marketing team have already developed a detailed retail programme for Orville & Cuddles to raise brand awareness and deliver significant product sales.
"Although we are a newly formed company, our team have over 20 years experience in the development and exploitation of intellectual property rights. We have several upcoming international deal in play and are very much looking forward to the future."
