Zodiak Rights, the international division of Zodiak Media, has announced the hire of Tim Mutimer in the newly created role of ‘head of non-scripted programming’.
He joins from BBC Worldwide where he held the position of SVP EMEA.
Matthew Frank, CEO Zodiak Rights, said: “I am really chuffed to be announcing Tim’s appointment. Not only is he an incredibly nice guy he’s also a perfect fit both professionally and culturally for Zodiak Rights. His blend of sales and acquisitions experience is exactly what I was looking for in this new role – I’m sure he’ll be brilliant at it”
Mutimer said: “I am incredibly excited to be joining the team at Zodiak Rights. I believe that there is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with Zodiak Media’s impressive stable of production companies to develop content that will appeal to platforms around the world. Zodiak Media’s DNA mixes creativity with an international mindset and I aim to help Zodiak Rights capitalise on these strengths and continue to grow their global business. I have enjoyed working with the fantastic team at BBC Worldwide where together we have grown the sales and distribution business over consecutive years by building programmes such as Top Gear, Doctor Who and Sherlock into globally recognised brands.”
