The countdown to the MCV Awards 2010 has begun – with date, venue and categories announced.
Dot to Dot Productions commissioned for new spin off show.
Dot to Dot Productions has been commissioned by Cbeebies and BBC Learning to produce a new series based on Get Squiggling.
The spin off show - Get Squiggling Letters - will aim to help pre-schoolers form the letters of the alphabet through stories, songs and squiggles.
An online game has also been commissioned to go alongside the series.
The pan platform brand will be produced by Alan Robinson and executive produced by Jo Killingley for Dot to Dot, and Catherine McAllister for the BBC.

My little boy loves Get squiggling letters and has learnt to form his letters by watching and copying. Just like numtums cemented his number recognition this excellent series is having a profound effect on his letter recognition and writing skills. I am thrilled. Please tell me that the complete letters series will be available on dvd soon?!?!
I second Rachel's comments above on this brilliant new series. My daughter sits ready with her own squiggle pad and squiggle stick and loves to copy the letter formations. I was amazed when she started forming recognisable letters :-). We often have to sit through endless repeats on iplayer at her request. I would be absolutely over the moon if this series was released on DVD. Please do it! And keep up the good work!!
