Northern Quiz Night raises over £9,000 for charity

Roy Lowe & Sons/Mattel - the Ginger Swingers - triumph at annual quiz night in aid of industry charity, The Light Fund.
Last week's Northern Light Fund Quiz Night raised over £9,000 for deserving charities.
Held last Thursday in Bar 38, Deansgate, Manchester, the quiz was won by the Ginger Swingers - otherwise known as Roy Lowe & Sons/Mattel - with 88 points.
They were closely followed by Sambro (86 points) and The Marmite Soldiers (Chorion/Copyrights, with 84.5 points).
There were some 31 teams in total, including representatives from BBC, CPL, 4Kids, Contender, Nickelodeon, Man Utd and RDF amongst others.
The event was sponsored by Bulldog, Vivid, TLC, Chapman, Christys, Warners, Imagine8, Kilogrammedia, Cartoon Network, Gemma and Nickelodeon.
