Disney heads to Russia

The Walt Disney Company CIS introduces new online destination for Russians called Disney.ru
The Russian site will feature content from Disney’s portfolio of stories, characters and brands, according to a report on C21 Media, while also exploring the firm’s history, products and services, both in Russia and around the world.
Targeting all age groups, the site will be divided into sections such as movies, games, characters, products and travel.
Marina Jigalova-Ozkan, MD, The Walt Disney Company CIS, said: "The launch of Disney.ru is an important step in Disney's development in Russia. We are really happy that, starting from today, Russian families will have an opportunity to get to know our characters as well as users around the world do."
