Nine deals signed at MIPTV for children’s series written by Shaun the Sheep author.

The interestingly named children’s series, The Adventures of Voopa the Goolash, will air in nine territories as of September 2008, after causing a wave of interest at MIPTV.

Mediaset Italy, TV7 Bulgaria and Content Union Russia are just three of the broadcasters which signed deals for the first series of 13 episodes, written by Charles Hodges, well known author of Shaun the Sheep and Dennis the Meance.

Distributed by UK firm, The Production Team, the CGI animation series was conceived in South Africa and produced in New Zealand. The story centres around the desirable values of care of the environment, one another, the power of cause and effect and the ability to both create and destroy.
