Taffy signs Televisa

Channel picks up free TV rights for Mexico to Fantastic Four and Growing Up Creepie.
Taffy Entertainment has revealed that Televisa has purchased the free TV rights in Mexico to kids' animated series Growing Up Creepie (pictured) and The Fantastic Four.
The deal was completed in partnership with Hola Entertainment, the Latin America agent for Taffy.
"Televisa is an ideal broadcast partner for these shows," said Marie Conge, senior VP of international sales at Taffy. "They are already the home for some of the best kids' programming in the marketplace and these programs will be a perfect fit in their line-up."
Nominated for an Emmy in its first season, Growing Up Creepie is an irreverent look at adolescence through the eyes of 12 year-old Creepie Creecher, a young girl who is being raised by a family of bugs.
The show launched last autumn on Nickelodeon Latin America and also airs in the US on the Discovery Kids channel.
Fantastic Four, meanwhile, is an action-comedy series based on Marvel's super hero franchise. It is co-produced by MoonScoop and Marvel, with the participation of Cartoon Network Europe and M6. Taffy has the distribution rights outside of the US, with Marvel handling US TV and subsequent DVD distribution rights and worldwide merchandising.
