Samantha Loveday May 14 2008, 5:39pm
The former Carlton Cards man talks us through his career in the licensing business.
Starting off as creative director and co-creator of Bubblegum for Carlton Cards, Ged Backland claims he fell into licensing by default.
He is now the joint owner of The Backland Studio – with brands including GoochiCoo, Scarlett and Crimson (which is jointly owned with Coolabi), Aunt Acid, Vincent (The bear with one lughole), Suga Lumps and Grumpy Old Gits.
