DCP appoints new head for Greater China

Guenther Hake to lead company in growing territory.
With China being earmarked by Disney Consumer Products as one of its largest growth opportunities, the firm has named Guenther Hake to lead DCP in the territory.
He can been promoted to senior VP and MD of Disney Consumer Products and Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment.
In his new role, Hake will drive an integrated business, including the firm's licensing operation and the sales teams for DCP and WDSHE, and develop the Disney brand to create an 'immersive experience for Chinese consumers'.
Hake will relocate to Shanghai on July 1st.
"Guenther has played a valuable role in the expansion of DCP's business in Europe over the last several years," said Andy Mooney, chairman of DCP. "He brings all the necessary skills to lead our business in the critical markets of Greater China as this region becomes more and more important to our overall growth strategy."
