Tomorrow will see the industry's intrepid Swim Team 11 set out on their Maltese Island adventure.
The sponsors have been secured, money has been pledged - and now the 11 brave industry souls who will be swimming round the Maltese Islands of Gozo, Comino and Malta are busy making last minute preparations for their challenge.
Stephen Gould (4Kids Entertainment), Ian Downes (Start Licensing), Craig Rowell (CPLG), Ian Down (Hamlins), Richard Floor (Elemis), Rob Corney (Bulldog), Jane Kennedy (BKN New Media), Cassie Allen (BBC Worldwide), Angela Cullinam (AWE) and Sarah Turley (Zurich Professional) will be joined by Susie Orr (Bristol Primary Care Trust).
Orr has stepped in at short notice after Kilogrammedia-sponsored team member Jessica Johnson broke her ankle.
A former international 25-29 age group triathlete, Orr developed ME in 2004 but today she is close to full health.
The aim for the group will be to complete a minimum of 21km or 13.04 miles over five days. The team will be split into two groups, with the faster group potentially lapping the first and clocking up to 30km over the period. Two swimmers will attempt to swim a marathon distance of 26 miles and 285 yards.
The Brand Licensing Europe and Smiffy's Maltese Islands sponsored swim for the Light Fund has already raised well over £25,000.
It now has a target of £40,000.
The full list of sponsors is: KJG Consulting, G Squared, F1 Recruitment, Blues Clothing, Wesco, CPLG, Panini, Licensingpage Recruitment, Redan Publishing, Alligator Books, Flair, Consortea, Vivid Imaginations, Kinnerton, Portico Designs, Spearmark, TAYMAI, Sega, Roy Lower & Sons, Kids Industries, 20th Century Fox, Rainbow Productions, Warner Bros, Wow Stuff, Blueprint Collections, Martin Yaffe, Max Publishing, Ensobrados, Pyramid Posters, Character Group, Gosh, Worlds Apart, The Water Delivery Company, Random House, Bandai, Pedigree, Chapman, Topps, McDonalds UK, Kilogrammedia, The Marketing Store, Character World, Esdevium Games, Allsorts Licensing, Grani & Partners, Brand Licensing Europe and Smiffy's.

I'd just like to wish all 11 team members the best of luck. As far as I'm concerned, you're all heroes already. I most certainly could not swim that far!

Many thanks to all our supporters and sponsors. Licensing. Biz has been fantastic in their coverage. Lets hope we can do you all justice ! We have also had some sponsors signing up today missing the roll call above like The Marketing Store , Sky One , Fisher Forensic and Bang on the Door ( they supplied some great T Shirts we have been selling )....thanks for your collective patience : you won't have to hear about any more pink hats , jellyfish and the distance between Gozo and Malta after this week ever again !
