New Pineapple Squared children's show picks up licensing and merchandising partner.
Ambitious new animated show Orsum Island is starting to pick up partners - with Pineapple Squared and its worldwide licensing agent Bulldog appointing G Squared Promotion to handle licensing and merchandising in the US and Canada.
The multi-platform 'future proofed' show, aimed at boys aged five to 11, has already successfully launched on www.orsumisland.com. Two episodes of the animated show are now complete and a raft of broadcasters are due to be announced shortly.
G Squared, which formed back in 1985 and is headed up by CEO George Gross Jr, works with a number of high profile firms including Lucasfilm, Scholastic Media and Speed Racer Enterprises.
The show takes place on a mysterious island where two rival powers fight for control. Kodi is the central character, and the stories focus on his motivation, the risks he faces and the emotional journey which he is travelling.
During Kodi's adventures he teams up with Divine Flower, a female martial artist, Monty the last dragon on the island and Fidget, a chameleon who found Monty as an egg.
