Top Australian licensing agency acquires the Aussie Thong Family.
Haven Licensing is introducing the Aussie Thong Family to Australia, and is looking to adapt it into a TV animation series, film, merchandise, music and comics.
Created by Keith Saggers and Tristan Jones, partners in Red Dog Bites, the Aussie Thong Family is a 'normal' family facing all the challenges of a modern, rapidly changing world.
The show is in the realm of classic Australian film and TV comedies, such as Crocodile Dundee, where the underdog often comes out on top.
"There is an exciting originality and bravado in the Aussie Thong Family, which makes it a first of its kind, and gives us an opportunity to create a hugely successful brand in Australia, then export to the rest of the world," said Haven MD Tom Punch.
Haven already represents some of the world's top children's brands in Australia including The Simpsons, Spider-man, Star Wars, Thomas the Tank Engine, Bob the Builder, Dora, Bratz and Sesame Street.
