Manga series joins Underground Toys portfolio

Firm acquires UK licence for Death Note, with products available from this month onwards.
Viz Media has made Underground Toys the UK licensee for the distribution of various Death Note accessories, including the likes of keychains, patches, pins and wallets.
Death Note is a Japanese manga graphic novel series, following the adventures of Light Yagami, an ace student with good prospects, but who is bored out of his mind.
Death Note was first serialised by Shuseisha in the Japanese manga magazine, Weekly Shonen Jump, with 108 chapters in total.
It has been published as a graphic novel in 12 volumes for Japan, North America and the UK, while the series has also been adapted into a pair of live-action films released in Japan in June and November 2006, and an anime series which aired in the territory on 2006/07.
Death Note joins such other licences as Family Guy, The Simpsons, Transformers, Star Trek, Carry On and Scarface in Underground Toys' portfolio.
