NASCAR commemorated in original artwork by the Painter of Light.
Last week's Licensing International saw art and design specialist Thomas Kinkade unveil its latest subject matter.
Known as the 'Painter of Light', Thomas Kinkade has previously been inspired by such American icons as Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, the home of Elvis Presley, Graceland, Yankee Stadium and the Boston Red Sox.
Now he has turned his attention to NASCAR Thunder and the 50th running of the Daytona 500.
"I have been honoured to commemorate so many American icons that mean so much to people," stated Kinkade.
The officially licensed Limited Edition Commemorative Portrait of the 50th running of the Daytona 500 was sketched on-site during this year's race and selected via online voting from eight sketches by fans of NASCAR, the Daytona 500 and Thomas Kinkade.
"I couldn't be happier with the fans' decision - their favourite was my favourite," Kinkade said. "This piece has all of the historical figures and cultural symbolism that continue to draw fans to the Great American Race."
