First TV deals for Orsum Island

Innovative animated kids' show notches up sales to Norway and Ireland.
With three episodes now completed, the distributor of Orsum Island has already sold the first series to TV2 in Norway and RTE in Ireland.
VGI Entertainment is expecting to notch up further deals soon for the Pineapple Squared Productions children's series.
The high definition 3D series uses motion capture technology on real backgrounds and features action adventure, layered comedy, strong storylines and diverse characters.
"In daring to be different Pineapple Squared have created a fantastic series which is meeting the demand in the children's market for innovative and exciting programming," said Chris Blackburn, MD of VGI Entertainment.
"Ensuring we have the right key broadcast partners is essential. We are therefore delighted to have RTE and TV2 on board."
