The Beatles licence up for grabs

Guitar Hero and Rock Band battling it out for Fab Four’s back catalogue.
Representatives for The Beatles are in negotiations with the companies behind the video games, Rock Band and Guitar Hero, with a view to licensing the Fab Four’s music.
According to the Financial Times, Activision and MTV are both keen to create a Beatles-themed video game.
The newspaper reports that the move ‘could pave the way for a broader licensing of the Fab Four's catalogue’.
