New 17-inch figurines of iconic video games character planned.
Video games firm Eidos is teaming up with Tonner for a new line of Lara Croft character figures.
The New York-based company already produces a number of licensed character figures including The Wizard of Oz, Harry Potter, Gone With the Wind and Pirates of the Caribbean.
The new Lara Croft 17-inch figure was unveiled at last week's Wizard World Chicago in front of a 68,000-strong audience. Wizard World is a four city tour that brings together the worlds of comics, collectables and pop culture.
The figure features 14 points of articulation, rooted hair and several different outfits.
"In creating Lara Croft as a TCF, I wanted to capture her essence and spirit in all the detail," said Robert Tonner, CEO of Tonner. "We worked closely with Eidos to ensure every facet of the figure is completely accurate."
