Firm adds to its branded bedroom collection with new Disney/Pixar movie.

Disney/Pixar has awarded Character World the licence to produce bedroom ranges for potential summer blockbuster, Wall-E.

The Manchester-based licensed textile company has designed and produced a vast collection including duvets, curtains, fleece blankets and snuggle sacs.

Wall-E, about a loveable trash compacting robot with a heart of gold, has topped the North American box office, taking £31.3 million in its opening weekend. It hits UK cinemas on July 18th.

"There is a real buzz around Wall-E, especially after the hugely successful release in America," said Danny Schweiger, director at Character World. "It looks set to be the family movie of the summer and its wide appeal means the brand looks set to be around for a long time.

"It complements our ever expanding range of movie licences for 2008 and beyond."
