PRE-SCHOOL MONTH: Halsall boosts wheeled ranges

Toy firm adds to branded pre-school collections.
Roary the Racing, Fifi and the Flowertots, Dora the Explorer and the Baby Annabell and Baby Born franchises will form a key part of Halsall's push into the pre-school sector throughout the rest of the year.
Wheeled toys and inflatables will be added to the Roary the Racing Car range - including a battery operated ride-on, with steering and reverse functions, plus sounds and phrases from the series.
A Big Chris Pool with watery 'petrol pump' shower, a Slip n Slide Race Track Water Slide with racing car play mats, a three piece Pool Set, Ball Pool and Bouncy Castle are also available.
"We are thrilled to be involved with Roary the Racing Car which has fast become yet another star performing pre-school brand," said Mark Walls, Halsall's director of national accounts.
Meanwhile, the firm is continuing to enjoy success with its Fifi and the Flowertots range of wheeled toys and summer inflatables. New items in the line include the musical Beauty Parlour Dressing Table and the Garden Party Musical Ride-on, which features a scene of moving 3D characters, as well as musical sounds and phrases.
Musical and wooden toys are also available in Halsall's Dora the Explorer range, while it has also just added bikes, trikes, scooters, skates, protection and battery powered motorbike and side-car, plus sports coupé car in its Baby Annabell and Baby Born collection.
