Coronation Street, Jeremy Kyle, Dancing on Ice and Britannia High all to star.

ITV DVD has revealed a strong line-up for the fourth quarter, rolling out brand extensions for some of the channel's core franchises.

Highlights of the presentation made at the London Studios include Coronation Street - Out of Africa, an ambitious spin off of the popular soap which shows favourite characters Chesney, Kirk and Fiz set out for South Africa to be reunited with Cilla.

The firm is also hoping that Britannia High will be one of the entertainment events of the autumn. Described as Fame for the Noughties, the show is choreographed by Arlene Philips (of Strictly Come Dancing fame) with the score written by Take That's Gary Barlow and song writer Guy Chambers.

Due to air on ITV1 this autumn, the DVD will include a host of extra features.

Moving on, and Harry Hill's TV Burp Gold will be another major focus, along with Al Murray's Happy Hour (available for the first time on DVD).

Jeremy Kyle: Live in Your Street will show the daytime talk show host step out of the studio to find out more about what really happens to his guests when the cameras stop rolling. Vinnie Jones will also host Toughest Cops.

In addition to the new releases, ITV DVD will be launching the ITV Icons collection, which will include 20 of the firm's box sets including Inspector Morse, Sharpe and Auf Weidersen Pet repackaged.

The complete original series of Thunderbirds will also be available on Blu Ray.

"This autumn we are concentrating on the success of our ITV brands and have worked with all divisions of ITV to develop a DVD platform for some of the UK's favourite shows and personalities," said Steve Gallant, director of global content at ITV.

"Much of this content has been made exclusively for DVD, something we are very proud of. Our aim is to deliver original, creative, high quality DVDs to an audience who are loyal and passionate about their favourite shows."
