Blues scoops Mr Men deal

Firm to produce leisurewear for the Benelux market until 2010.
Ambitious Blues Clothing has signed a licensing agreement with Chorion to produce Mr Men leisurewear for the Benelux market until 2010.
Mr Men joins Blues' already extensive portfolio of licensed properties in Europe, including the likes of Hello Kitty, Snoopy, Felix the Cat and Olive Oyl.
The two-year deal enables the company to develop various Mr Men clothing items based on the books. Sodirep, one of the largest clothing suppliers to retail in the Benelux region, will distribute the range, which will nclude products like t-shirts and nightwear for teens and tweens featuring different Mr Men and Little Miss characters.
"Mr Men characters have been popular for years," said Josy Fouche, Blues' European licensing director. "We are very excited to be part of this phenomenon and we are confident Sodirep will make the range a success in the Benelux."
