Ambitious firm inks deal with American Retro Museum.
Blues Clothing has signed a licensing agreement with California-based American Retro Museum to produce leisurewear until 2010 exclusively for the French market.
American Retro Museum's vintage art, including Snow White, Cinderella, Peter Pan, Goldilocks, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk and Pinocchio among others, has been licensed to Blues for department stores and mass market.
The range will be distributed in France by Sodirep, one of the largest clothing suppliers to retail in France and the Benelux, supplying stores such as Carrefour, 3 Suisses, Auchan and Kiabi.
"We are excited about our partnership with American Retro Museum," said Josy Fouche, Blues' European licensing director (pictured). "Sodirep is a strong partner and we are confident the brand will be a success in France."
American Retro Museum joins the likes of Hello Kitty, Snoopy, Felix the Cat and Olive Oyl in Blues' growing portfolio.
