Mobile games publisher to develop titles based on quiz shows The Price is Right and Family Feud.

Glu Mobile has inked a deal with FremantleMedia Enterprises which grants it exclusive rights to develop and publish mobile titles based on the popular game shows The Price is Right and Family Feud in Europe, Australia and parts of Asia.

In addition, the two firms will also partner in North America for the two titles.

"The Price is Right and Family Feud are regarded as heavyweight game show brands across Europe, Australia and Asia, and this partnership offers tremendous opportunities for both Glu and FME," said Frank Keeling, MD of publishing at Glu EMEA.

"Our development and marketing expertise in dealing with high value brands like these means the mobile games will complement the brands perfectly, with massive appeal to their target audience."

Claire Baker, FME VP of licensing, added: "We are delighted to be partnering with Glu in these developments. "Each territory has a particular nuance, but Glu has the necessary expertise to fine tune the entertainment for each market in the same way as the TV show has done for many years."

The Price is Right first aired in the US in 1956, making it the longest running game show in TV history. Family Feud, which is known as Family Fortunes in the UK, has aired in more than 45 countries since its 1976 launch.
