Kamen Rider Dragon Knight to hit screens in Mexico from April 2009.

Adness Entertainment has licensed its flagship property Kamen Rider Dragon Knight to Televisa in Mexico.

Televisa will launch 40 half-hour episodes of the live action kids' series in 2009, revealed Adness president Fumio Sebata.

The show follows the adventures of teenager Kit Taylor, who discovers a mysterious deck of Advent Cards that grant him the power to transform into an ancient armored warrior called a Kamen Rider.

It is based on the original series Kamen Rider Ryuki, which was produced by Toei Company and aired in Japan in 2002.

"Televisa is the latest of the top broadcasters within the global television community to make Kamen Rider an important part of their kids line-up," said Adness' Sebata. "We are delighted to work with this outstanding broadcaster and look forward to joining with them to launch Kamen Rider next spring."
