Gemma snaps up Madagascar 2

Firm to produce licensed greeting cards and wrap for upcoming Dreamworks movie.
Gemma International has again added to its portfolio of licensed properties, signing up to produce a line of greetings cards and wrap for Madagascar 2: Escape 2 Africa.
The designs will have a strong African theme and display the film's most popular characters, along with their taglines. The line includes ages four to eight, three no-age designs, male relations, a moving picture card, wrap and tag.
"Madagascar was the number one animated movie of 2005 and the DVD was in the top three for sales the same year," said Tim Rudd-Clarke, licensing director at Gemma. "We are expecting Escape 2 Africa to be just as successful."
The film will hit UK cinemas on December 5th, while the Gemma range will be available from October 30th.
