4Kids Entertainment has set this year's Mipcom for the international premiere of all-new animated property Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds.
The series will mark the ninth season for the popular property and follows a new group of duelists as they test their skill, strength and speed in numerous competitions. 5Ds, which stands for 5 Dragons, will headline the company's roster of children's programming at the market.
The Yu-Gi-Oh franchise has achieved strong international broadcast success since its launch in 2000.
It airs on a wide array of channels including Nickelodeon (UK, Latin America, Spain and Australia), GMTV (UK), RTL 2 (Germany), Mediaset (Italy), Cartoon Network (Australia and New Zealand) and Children's Channel (Israel) amongst others.
It is one of the top five kids' worldwide TV franchises this decade.
