Melanie Beer quits ITV

Popular industry exec resigns from merchandising and licensing director role.

Melanie Beer has resigned from her position as merchandising and licensing director at ITV to pursue other opportunities, Licensing.biz has learned.

While at the firm, Beer helped to firmly establish equestrian brand Bella Sara on the global marketplace, while also building up the UK business for Numberjacks and Thunderbirds and growing the business from ITV game shows, among other brands.

Licensing.biz understands that ITV is now looking to build up its licensing team.

Good luck to Mel in her future projects. We spoke briefly on the telephone last year and she was very supportive to ideas we were looking to develop with her.
