Toy and publishing deals struck for Toddworld property.
Corporate Creative Licensing has appointed toy manufacturer Trends UK to produce soft toys and puzzles for Toddworld, the Emmy-nominated animated children's TV series.
In addition, the firm has also struck a deal with Redan Publishing, which will see Toddworld included in top-selling pre-school compilation title FTL Friends and its sister publication FTL Favourites from January 2009 onwards.
"We are delighted to be working with Toddworld and what a great fit it is for our pre-school titles with its colourful artwork and educational messages," commented Julie Jones, publishing director at Redan.
Lee Clowes, head of international sales at Trends, added: "We are very excited to be teaming up with CCL to licence Toddworld. We see significant potential in this fun, charming property; no wonder it is a favourite at Cbeebies."
Michael Gottlieb, head of licensing at CCL, stated: "We are very proud to launch the Toddworld licensing programme with two top-notch licensees and look forward to an enduring partnership with Trends and Redan."
