Boss of Roy Lowe & Sons triumphs in Rocket Licensing's BLE challenge.

Martin Lowe, MD of Roy Lowe & Sons, was last week crowned the Atari Asteroids champion at Brand Licensing Europe.

Lowe clinched the trophy with an impressive score of 18,910, leaving his competitors trailing.

"The Atari Asteroids Championship certainly seemed to strike a chord with many of the show's attendees, who after spotting the classic Atari logo and arcade machine, came over to the Rocket stand to have a go," said Rob Wijeratna, joint managing director at Rocket.

BULLDOG

"Simon Harrison from Portico, who finished high on the leader board, confessed to leacing a meeting early to get another game in, and many I'm sure, including the eventual winner Martin, owned up to having spent an errant youth hanging around the arcades.

"Overall it was a fun and inclusive way of getting our message across to the trade that the Atari brand, including its portfolio of classic games, is back with a new and exciting UK licensing campaign."
