Novel lines up more sales for Horrid Henry

New broadcast agreements secured ahead of Mipcom.
Independent producer Novel Entertainment and distribution partner Little Bird Rights have secured a number of international sales deals for animated property Horrid Henry in the run up to Mipcom.
Little Bird has worldwide television rights to the show outside the UK and Germany. It has recently secured broadcast deals for the first series of 52x11-minute episodes with MNet in South Africa, RTP Portugal, Digiturk in Turkey and SVT in Sweden.
A deal has also been inked with Polish production company Op Art.
A total of 104 episodes are now available to buyers as CITV has commissioned a second series of the 2D show. Novel is currently in production on the 52 new episodes with delivery due for spring 2009.
"Horrid Henry's popularity is going from strength to strength and we are delighted that we are able to introduce him to new television audiences around the world," commented Mike Watts, MD of Novel.
