Latest in long line of character's adventures to be debuted at Mipcom in Cannes next week.
Entertainment Rights will be debuting a feature length animated film featuring the popular character Mr Magoo at next week's Mipcom festival.
Produced in conjunction with Mexico's Anima Estudios, Motion Toons and ER, Kung Fu Magoo will include voice talent from the US. These include The Suite Life of Zack and Cody's Cole and Dylan Sprouse, plus Alyson Stoner from Camp Rock.
The film is due to roll out in Mexico in 2009, with ER in North America releasing the feature as a direct-to-video through its distribution partner Genius Products.
Quincy Magoo stars with his 12 year-old nephew Justin, dodging giant robotic spiders, ninjas on jet skis and mutant 'Beasteens' (half animal, half teenage girl).
Doug Schwalbe, executive VP of sales and co-production at ER North America, commented: "We are thrilled to be working with such a well-known property with the creative team at Anima Estudios - Mexico's leading animation studio. We have no doubt that the collaboration will prove to be successful in Mexico and around the world.
"With such terrific talent on board and clever storylines, this production will re-introduce Magoo to a new generation of fans."
