Popular industry personality takes on consultancy role as director of consumer products.
Former co managing director at 4Kids Entertainment, Stephen Gould has joined RDF Kids & Family in a consultancy role as director of consumer products.
Gould starts at RDF with immediate effect and he will be working as a consultant on all aspects of global licensing, retail, promotions, events and home entertainment for the firm's expanding portfolio of properties including upcoming pre-school Cbeebies series Waybuloo, plus US hit Yo Gabba Gabba, Mister Maker, Big Barn Farm and Escape from Scorpion Island.
Gould will be with RDF for up to a year covering director of consumer products Rachel Barke's maternity leave. He will report to RDF Rights MD, Matthew Frank.
"I am delighted to join RDF Kids & Family in the consultancy role at this very exciting, dynamic and expansionist time in their evolution and especially so within the children's genre," said Gould.
"This opportunity is also a very welcome and long overdure return for me to the pre-school sector with huge excitement building for the licensed roll out of Yo Gabba Gabba and the hotly anticipated launch of the next Cbeebies landmark series, Waybuloo."
Matthew Frank added: "Stephen brings a varied and extensive knowledge of the licensing, retail and consumer markets and will make a valuable contribution to the business during this key period of growth for RDF's Kids brands, as well as expansion and diversification for the core IP business in general."
