New album available by Christmas after Novel strikes deal with EMI.
Novel Entertainment and record label EMI have inked a deal which will see the popular Horrid Henry character releasing a record in time for Christmas.
The new album - featuring 18 tracks - will be available from December 1st. With the exception of the title song from the TV series - Nah Nah Ne Nah Nah - all the songs have been written especially for the album. A four-track single has already been released on iTines in advance of the album launch.
A number of the songs are featured in Henry's touring stage show Horrid Henry: Live and Horrid, which opens in London's West End from November 21st at the Trafalgar Studios.
"We are excited to have secured this prestigious record deal for Horrid Henry with EMI, given the company's track record and current success in the children's market securing significant sales for the Disney catalogue, specifically High School Musical," said Mike Watts, MD at Novel Entertainment. "We look forward to Henry's fans enjoying his first album."
