US: WWE unveils social networking site

WWE Universe opens its doors for the brand's online community.
World Wrestling Entertainment has launched its new online social networking site - WWE Universe - hosted on WWE.com.
WWE Universe's aim is to connect millions of WWE fans and Superstars around the globe.
The site will allow its members to connect with WWE Superstars, most of whom have their own official profiles, as well as experience live blogs featuring interactive commentary during live WWE programming, special events and pay-per-view broadcasts.
Users can also create message boards, blogs and discussion groups, upload images (with video coming soon), have live chats and generally interact with other members.
"WWE Universe is the first social networking site specifically designed and developed for the WWE online community," said Brian Kalinowski, general manager of digital media. "We are very excited to provide an online destination that WWE fans can call home."
