Firm's Diane von Furstenberg collaboration officially launched.
Top American fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg has collaborated with Warner Bros Consumer Products for a special Wonder Woman inspired collection for this Christmas.
DVF unveiled the line at an exclusive launch event at her London store earlier this month, which was attended by a host of high profile figures including model Erin O'Conner, artist Tracey Emin and Vogue editor Alexandra Schulmann.
WBCP EMEA was represented by Salvador Viramontes, VP of sales, marketing and retail, and Emanuela Tartari, director of apparel & accessories, housewares & domestics, gift and novelties (both pictured above with von Furstenberg).
The Wonder Woman collection will be available in DVF boutiques and specialty stores worldwide.
"Wonder Woman is the ultimate symbol of female strength, independence and freedom," said von Furstenberg. "When Warner Bros approached me to collaborate, I immediately thought it was a fun idea that would reinforce my belief in women and commitment to their empowerment. The collection will inspire every woman to be the Wonder Woman she wants to be."
The limited edition collection includes a capsule of ready to wear, small leather goods and footwear inspired by the motifs and symbols of the superhero. Proceeds from select pieces will be contributed to Vital Voices Global Partnerships, an NGO that trains and empowers emerging women leaders and social entrepreneurs around the world.
