Dinosaur King expands worldwide

4Kids announces new markets and second series renewals for the series.
Following MIPCOM 2008, 4Kids Entertainment has completed licensing agreements with broadcasters in Canada, Mexico, the Netherlands, Ireland and central European markets for the fantasy adventure series Dinosaur King.
The second series has also been renewed by Jetix in Latin America, the UK and Scandinavia.
The series, a combination of traditional cel and CGI animations is set to launch on YTV Canada, Animax (central and eastern Europe), MNET (South Africa), Televisa (Mexico) and RTE (Ireland).
In addition, 4Kids has sold the home video rights for the series to Universal and France and Contender in the UK.
Dinosaur King is already shown on Mediaset in Italy, RTL2 in Germany, France 3 and Canal J in France, among others.
